Emmerdale viewers are speculating a split between Gabby Thomas and Vinny Dingle as they anticipate her new romantic interest, leaving Dawn Fletcher less than pleased.

In the previous week, Kammy Hadiq (portrayed by Shebz Miah) and his mate Vinny (Bradley Johnson) plotted to get back at a delivery driver who had tried to chat up Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) outside The Hide.

Vinny informed the man that he was engaged to Gabby, but the driver’s response left Vinny feeling insecure. Kammy then egged on Vinny to nick the driver’s van and abandon it down a street.

As they were pursued by the police into the woods, Vinny found himself exhilarated by the thrill of doing something out of character. In the aftermath, Vinny got carried away and attempted to kiss Kammy, leaving him bewildered while Vinny brushed it off as a joke.

On Monday (16th June), Kammy confessed to Vinny that he had pinched Clemmie’s mobile, leading Vinny to sneak into Home Farm later to return the phone as Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) was being accused.

However, he ended up trapped and had to hide when Kim Tate (Claire King) came home unexpectedly and started working on the sofa, reports Belfast Live.

Later, Kammy sought out Vinny at the yard, who wasn’t exactly thrilled to see him.

Kammy confronted Vinny over his actions, querying: “Is this really about the phone? And it’s not cause you’re bi?”, to which Vinny retorted: “Keep it down, Kammy, I’m not bi, it was nothing, okay? It was a laugh, I’ve told you that.”

Meanwhile, Kim disclosed to Billy that the lost mobile had been located, but despite the news, he shared his intention to vacate her property feeling somewhat dejected.

Nonetheless, Emmerdale watchers are speculating that Billy won’t be relocating too far as expectations grow for his budding romance with Gabby, who is anticipated to jettison Vinny after discovering his indiscretion with Kammy.

Billy, as aficionados will recall, was recently given the elbow by his wife Dawn (Oliver Bromley) following a fling with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous).

A Reddit user posited: “I think Gabby needs to be paired to someone else her and Vinny don’t really work. Maybe Billy.”

Agreeing, another fan suggested: “Gabby will have a new partner within a month. Billy is a good shout”, while another added with a touch of soap opera drama: “Lmao it would be so soapy for Gabby and Billy to be together after Dawn left him for Joe I think I could get behind this.”

Delving further into past connections, one commented: “Or bring up the fact that it’s the second time she’s gone after one of Dawn’s exes? Let’s not forget that the only reason she has Thomas in the first place was because she had a drunken one-night stand with Jamie after Dawn broke up with him.”

Reflecting on previous events, another viewer recalled: “Actually, now that I think about it, didn’t Gabby try to kiss Billy before the affair (and while Gabby was already with Vinny no less)?”

One other viewer jokingly chimed in: “I would watch it just to reignite the Gabby Dawn feud and it might give life to Billy’s character. All he seems to do at the moment is sulk around.”
