Fans of Taylor Sheridan’s Landman and Yellowstone have a lot to look forward to in November. Sheridan’s flagship neo-Western TV show premiered in 2018, with Kevin Costner leading Yellowstone’s cast as John Dutton. Although Yellowstone ended in 2024 after Costner exited the show, Sheridan launched Landman concurrently with Yellowstone’s final season, and the oil drama starring Billy Bob Thornton became an immediately popular replacement for the Dutton saga.
In addition to Landman being renewed for season 2, the Yellowstoneuniverse will continue to expand. Before 2025, the only Yellowstonespinoffs were two prequels. That said, Sheridan has at least four Yellowstone spinoffs in development, including another prequel and three set in modern times. While Sheridan is working on a follow-up to the 1923season 2, more is known about his modern-day projects. That includes Beth and Rip’s Yellowstone spinoff, and some of Sheridan’s most exciting works are set to arrive this fall.

What To Expect From Landman Season 2
Things Will Get Even Hotter In The Explosive Oil Drama

When Landman season 2 arrives in November, we can expect significant changes to the series, but with most of the same great characters. After Monty Miller’s (Jon Hamm) death in Landman season 1’s finale, Tommy Norris will step up as the president of M-TEX in Landman season 2. The development promises to elevate Demi Moore’s Cami Miller character at the same time, who made a bold move in Landman season 1 to pursue her husband’s farmout deal, a risk with a big reward.

As a husband, a father, and a fixer, Billy Bob Thornton has some of his best quotes as Tommy Norris in Taylor Sheridan’s Landman series.
Landman has promised to make Demi Moore’s Cami a main character in Landman season 2, following Billy Bob Thornton in the cast list. The development will bring about some exciting changes in the second outing, as we will see more of Tommy and Cami working together, much like the end of season 1. Landman season 2 will also show more of Andy Garcia’s Galino, a high-ranking cartel member who frees Tommy from Jimenez’s (Alex Meraz) attempt to kill him, and also add Sam Elliott to the cast.
