The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate that fans will soon have an opportunity to meet Ronna and see her Forrester connection. Anne Makovec’s new character has been revealed, so let’s talk about this fun cast addition.
Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) leaked a script in recent months that offered some clues about an upcoming episode.
That script is what first tipped fans off to the fact that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) would live since they were still on the cast list in September.
However, a mysterious character named “Ronna” was also listed.
That led to a debate on social media about whether it was a Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) typo or a brand-new character.
It turns out it’s the latter since Anne Makovec confirmed her soap opera debut as Ronna through a KPIX news story.
Makovec is an anchor and reporter in the Bay Area, but she recently jumped at the chance to join the cast of B&B and step into Ronna’s shoes.
“Behind the scenes of ‘The Bold and the Beautiful!’ I still can’t believe this happened!” Makovec said when she posted updates on Instagram.
Thanks to the video Makovec shared, we know she’ll indeed be portraying someone named Ronna.
Makovec showed fans her arrival at the studio as well as the time she spent in wardrobe, hair and makeup.
Of course, Makovec also highlighted some moments where she struggled to keep from fangirling over B&B stars like Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester), John McCook (Eric Forrester) and Heather Tom (Katie Logan).
As for the details of Makovec’s character, she’ll be playing a socialite and customer of Forrester Creations.
Ronna will have fashion-related scenes with Brooke and Katie in the Forrester CEO office, so viewers will certainly look forward to those.
You can catch Ronna’s debut on September 9, but B&B Supervising Producer Casey Kasprzyk hinted about the possibility of other appearances down the road.
“I gotta say, she was so much fun to watch…She lights up on screen, and I think we’re going to see a lot more of Anne’s character, Ronna…” Kasprzyk said in the clip.
